I am a Christian (raised in the Baptist tradition), a husband, and the father of three red-heads. I sometimes describe myself as the patriarch of a ginger dynasty.

I serve as Head of School at SouthLake Christian Academy in Huntersville, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. I am the Head elect of Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia. I begin my new position on June 1, 2024. I have served much of my career in Christian higher education, and I to bring that perspective to the schools I serve.

My wife and I were married in 1991. She is Nurse. We have three grown children.

I earned a Ph.D. from Baylor in Historical Theology, an M.B.A. from Samford University, an M.A. in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Music from LSU.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, trail running, and hiking.
